Sarah
Stokes was born in Higham Ferrers, Northants
in 1956. She now enjoys living by the sea in Whitstable.
Sarah has had no formal art training and has exhibited
widely, locally and in London regularly for the last six
years.
She has paintings in private collections throughout the
UK and in Italy and Norway.
Sarah's
paintings are about boundaries, finding the balance
between the imaginative inner world and the influence
of the environment. With playfulness, colourful
"figurative abstracts" of humanity are realised.
